About the event
Notes: Recent information has led to the discovery of a mass grave in the Wilmington Brandywine Cemetery where 28 members of the Rhode Island Regiment (14 white and 14 African American) along with 5 British officers are buried.
The City of Wilmington is planning a ceremony on Wednesday, September 23 to mark this gravesite.
