JOINT EVENT/ENCAMPMENT WITH 1st Maryland
Notes: This is a full weekend reenactment event in Greenesboro, NC. Please see info below. Battles each day and plenty of sutlers early in the year to visit. For those of us that are not from the area we have utilized in the past and looking to utilize it this year too is the Red Roof Inn.

It is cheap and clean and not too far away from the battlefield too.
All Members:
Length of Event: All Weekend 10am – 4pm public hours
Arrival Time For Regiment: 9am each day
Parking: Please park up the hill after unloading at Continental Army encampment area.
Restrooms: Portapotties
Food and Beverages Provided: Yes – by Regiment or event organizer for lunch.
Encampment Setup Level: Large
Camp Kitchen Setup: Yes
Camp Kitchen Tent Fly: Yes
Supply Tent Setup: Yes
In Ground or Above Ground Fire Permitted: Yes
Individual Soldier Tents Permitted: Yes – Indicate to Officer of the Day if bringing your own soldier tent.
Water Provided: Yes – next to location of Portapotties
Straw Provided: Yes – staff come around each morning
Firewood Provided: Yes – staff come around each morning with trailer of wood each day
Soldier Specific:
Impression: Delaware Continental uniform preferred. Late war impression. Regimental or Hunting Frock.
Kit Level: Full kit
Musket Firing: Yes
Musician Specific:
Contact Musician Sergeant-Major for music to be played at this event. Military calls also to be demonstrated too if possible.
Civilian Specific:
Impression: Civilian followers of a military camp.
Table Displays Permitted: No – fully functioning military encampment. Check with Officer of the Day or Civilian Camp Coordinator (if applicable) about any displays or demonstrations.
Supporter Specific:
Please assist in setup and/or breakdown if possible. Also – please bring camera or video camera to take photographs or video if possible. We will look to take posed photos that will be used to help educate the public if possible at each event this year.
