Notes: This is an evening event in Mamaroneck, NY. This event is still in the works. An all weekend or day event that celebrates the raid on Mamaroneck. Official time is from 11am-5pm. Regiment arrival prior to start of event is 8am.
Historical Note: Colonel John Haslet leads a night attack against the Queen’s Rangers (who are led by Robert Rogers of French & Indian War fame). 3 Delaware soldiers are killed and 12 wounded – of these 12 wounded, 2 are officers. 36 Queen’s Rangers are taken prisoner and 1 pair of their colors and 60 of their arms and blankets are also taken! Rogers, though, escapes.
