University of Delaware Football Game - 2023

UPDATE - Date is now Saturday November 18th

Notes: We have been requested to attend the University of Delaware football game and have a table out front prior to the game and do color guard and possibly provide a volley of fire each time the Blue Hens score for the first half of the game.  Therefore, we need soldiers to provide this at the game.  Soldiers would need to arrive by 10am.  Kickoff is 1pm.  All tentative for now.  

Traffic will be heavy if you arrive closer to kickoff.  Again – we will only do the first half.  Due to the heat and humidity, regimental coats or hunting frocks may be taken off at any time.  Any uniform will do – early to late war is aok.   Full canteens of water too.   

While on the sideline you may be asked for photo ops with cheerleaders, dance team, fans, etc.  We may even get photos with the UD President and other dignitaries too.  We are to stay in that area near the goal line and be prepared for any UD scores.  Basically we are mimicking what the New England Patriots do at their home games.  Pretty cool!
